4th of July Freedom? Really?

Here I sit on the 4th of July. Everone in the house is busy doing their own thing and I'm playing of the computer. Isn't that what the 4th represents? Us being able to do our own thing? Being free? But is that true? Can we really just "do our own thing"? I don't think so! I can't take something that is not mine - stealing; I can't take someones life - murder; I can't really do ANYTHING I want can I?

We do have RIGHTS; but we still have WRONGS. People fought and died not only for us to have those RIGHTS, but also for those WRONGS to stay wrong.
