STUPID attempt to ease stress!

Needham High School has abandoned its long-standing practice of publishing the names of students who make the honor roll in the local newspaper.

Do you get it? They are NOT publishing the honor roll in the newspaper because some students didn't make it. They've got to INSANE! Are they going to take away letterman's jackets, sports trophies and sports awards banquets because there are students not gifted in sports or not willing to tryout and see?

Maybe these adults can forfeit their raises that are based on performance because not everyone gets one.

Do I sound passionate about this? They are... taking away a reward for working hard at ACADEMICS. "We don't want underachievers to feel bad or work harder at the expense of devaluing the hard work of other - we're all the same." WRONG!!!

How about this... "Sorry, but I can't give you an A because not everyone else EARNED one, you'll have to settle for a C like those who didn't study." THAT'S FAIR?
